User and Role Management

Overview

On an IoT platform, user management is a critical function for platform security, permission control, and collaboration across multiple roles. ThingsIoT provides a flexible user and permission management mechanism supporting multi-level role configuration, project-level access control, and fine-grained operation permissions. This meets enterprise collaboration and security requirements across different IoT scenarios.

Quick Start

An account registered on the login page becomes a primary user. The primary user can add multiple sub-users, assign different permissions, and bind each sub-user to different project instances so that they can jointly manage projects. For example, after registering a primary account, a user might create separate projects for the production, finance, and sales departments. The primary account can assign different user permissions by department, allowing each department to manage its own projects.

Role management provides different permissions to different roles, enabling differentiated platform-data management.
